Swim Feral - Made in Britain

Our products are made locally by people who care and the sustainability and integrity of these products is a vital part of who we are. Wherever possible we are keen to support and work with independent, ethically-focused organisations and individuals who align with Swim Feral’s values and outlook.

We are proud members of Made in Britain who bring together the British manufacturing community, united with the use of the registered collective mark. You’ll find that mark on our products and it can only be used by members of Made in Britain that meet the criteria we set to guarantee the member is a British manufacturer.

We value the different manufacturers we work with who produce the products that make your outdoor changing experience that much more comfortable.

The Turtleback Bag

Label in Turtleback outdoor swimming bag signed with maker's name

We are proud to be able to say that our Turtleback outdoor swimming bags are handmade just up the road with quality, recycled materials by expert bag makers with decades of experience. The factory has been manufacturing bags for outdoor adventures since 1932.

When we set out designing the bag, finding the right manufacturer was really important. Carradice is based up in Nelson and their factory is full of highly skilled makers who handcraft each bag that leaves the workshop.

Organic Towelling Ponchos

Label in poncho with saying handmade in Lancashire

Our ponchos are ethically made by Angela and Donna in their small workshop in Wigan, Lancashire. These two skilled seamstresses use GOTS certified organic cotton to create a great edition to your swim gear.

Hoodies

We get our hoodies from Printed by Us, an award-winning social enterprise based in Sheffield. They run screen printing workshops to teach homeless and vulnerable people how to print and move forward towards employability. Homelessness is an issue very close to our heart here at Swim Feral – every year we take part in January Daily Dip. A group of hardy winter swimmers swim every day in January to raise money for displaced and homeless people.
