Feral Friend #3 - Fenwick Ridley

Fenwick Ridley has swum from a young age and is an Open Water Coach, Adventure Swimmer, Cold Water Specialist and the Owner of H2oTrails.

With 20 years coaching experience under his wetsuit and an adventurous soul; it's fair to say this total dude knows his outdoor swimming and is a jolly nice chap to boot. He's collected accolades, adventures and some lovely friends along the way.

His latest adventure involved swimming the length of the River Tyne, setting off from Newcastle and ending in Kielder Water, swimming up river against the flow pulling his own raft. This epic mission is truly worth a look on YouTube.  He will return this year to complete the South Tyne. 

H2oTrails has been running at Sweethope Lough in Northumberland for a few years now. Here Fenwick delivers professional, top-quality sessions for all including a kids course with awards. He specializes in cold water immersion and has completed  2km in 2*c and competed in many cold water events including the GB Winter Championships, Scottish Winter Championships and coming 1st in the Welsh Winter event.
